NANOWRIMO has once again sunk it’s claws into me, compelling me to take the plunge once more an attempt to write a 50K novel in one month. My latest opus hopeful is entitled Iam Jane Austen. How did I come up with it? Like most of my best ideas, it was bathroom epiphany. I was in the shower, minding my own business when I though of how much I see of myself in Jane Austen’s characters. I am a nosy little brat like Emma, a stubborn, slightly prejudice girl like Lizzie, an idealistic and utterly naive fluke like Marianne, and so much more. Then I started thinking, do you think guys think like that too?

This November’s NANO novel will be diving into the minds of men and how much of Jane Austen we have in all of us, even if you are a part of the male sex.

My one line blurb: A young man takes a literature elective and finds himself in Jane Austen’s heroines.

Sound cool? Making a big mistake? Get away from me crazy woman? Tell me what you think.
